Charlie Manaseri is a graduate student at SUNY Brockport pursuing a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, with a particular interest in supporting students with disabilities and improving accessibility in higher education.

Before entering the higher education field, Charlie earned his undergraduate degree in Communications, where his interests included sports broadcasting and sports writing. His background in media helped develop his skills as a storyteller and communicator and continues to shape the way he approaches both athletics and community-focused writing.

As a contributor to The Canalside Radio, Charlie covers local sports and brings a strong interest in the people, stories and experiences behind the games. His work reflects both his passion for athletics and his belief in using communication to build stronger connections within the community.

Outside of sports writing, Charlie hopes to build a career advocating for accessibility and helping students with disabilities navigate college with greater confidence and support.
